I chase light.
I always have. There's a part of me forever turned toward the sky — alert to a shift in the clouds, a color rising where there was none, a single minute that will never repeat. When the light begins, it stops me. It gives me permission to be present — to take it in with my own eyes before it's gone. Everything else falls away. What I love is the anticipation on the drive, the surprise of a sky more alive than I imagined, the thrill of standing ready as a moment arrives and breaks open and fades, all in the space of a breath. I've chased light across forty-five states. Five more to go. The wonder has never worn off.
A lifetime of chasing light, shared here with you. My deep hope is that my art brings you as much gratitude and wonder as it does for me.
